Ontario is a city in the state of California located in the San Bernardino County. The city has an estimated population of 170,373 (2000 census). This city is the home of the largest shopping mall in Southern California, the Ontario Mills Shopping Mall. It is also the home of LA/Ontario International Airport. Another major attraction is Citizen's Business Bank Arena, which consists of 11,000 seat multi purpose arena. It is the largest enclosed arena in the Inland Empire.
The city is undergoing major makeover plans, new residential homes, business parks, industrial areas, town centers and new attractions are currently being build. There are several notable residents that live in Ontario. Some include Rod Barajas (MLB player), Cle Kooiman (former soccer player), Robert Graettinger (composer), Christina "T" Lopez (singer, actress), Joey Scarbury (singer) and Robert Shaw (conductor).
